Jayna Murray’s parents submitted a statement to the court about the impact their daughter’s death has had on their lives. They request life without parole for the convicted killer of their daughter, Brittany Norwood.
The family of convicted killer Brittany Norwood is asking the judge to sentence her to life in prison with a chance of parole.
The 29-year-old is due to be sentenced Friday for the murder of Jayna Murray at the Lululemon store last fall.
Norwood’s family wrote over a dozen impassioned memos to the judge, begging for a chance of parole.
A medical examiner stated during the trial that they counted at least 331 separate injuries, including a fatal knife wound to the brain.
