Bank Robbery Attempted at Fredericksburg Bank

A bank robbery attempt was made at a Fredericksburg, Va. bank Wednesday afternoon.

Police say the suspect entered the First Citizens Bank in the 3200 block of Plank Road and presented a note to the teller demanding cash. The suspect jumped over the teller counter, but fled from the bank without obtaining any cash.

The suspect did not display a weapon. No one was injured.

The suspect was described as a white male in his early 20s, approximately 5’6” and 120 pounds, and with some facial hair. He was wearing black Nike jogging pants with a white stripe, a black top with a Puma logo on it, and a dark colored ball cap with a red logo. The suspect wore gloves.

The suspect was last seen running in the direction of the Regal 14 Cinemas.

It is the second robbery attempt at this bank. Another robbery occurred on December 22. The suspect in that robbery is still at-large.
